What's covered
Manufacturing defects — a loose prong, a worn shank, a setting that wasn't finished correctly — are covered for the lifetime of the piece, at no cost to you. This applies to ring settings purchased through the ring builder and to fine jewellery purchased directly from SAAT.
What's not covered
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, and loss are not covered under the warranty — those are what jewellery insurance is for, and we can point you to a provider on request. Repairs or alterations made by a jeweller other than SAAT void coverage on the affected part of the piece.
Complimentary annual check-up
Bring your piece in (or send it to us) once a year for a free inspection — prong tightening, a professional clean, and a check that the stone is still secure. It's the single best way to catch small issues before they become expensive ones.
How to make a claim
- Email hello@saat.com.au with your order number and photos of the issue
- We'll confirm whether it's covered and arrange insured shipping if needed
- Repairs are completed and returned to you at no charge
